The Missing Silver Bell
A chapel bell vanished overnight despite being secured behind an iron grille.
A small silver bell used by a local chapel disappeared from a locked vestry. The grille showed no sign of damage and the key remained with the caretaker. Three days later the bell was heard ringing in an empty warehouse, but when police arrived the building contained nothing that could have produced the sound.
