Welcome to the Edmund Cryer Archives, an immersive gothic detective experience created and produced by Days of Horror.
The Edmund Cryer universe blends atmospheric horror, Victorian crime, psychological mystery, folklore, and historical-inspired storytelling to create a dark and immersive fictional world.
Through recovered case files, journals, archive material, investigations, and cinematic storytelling, visitors are invited to step into the shadowed streets of industrial Lancashire and follow the investigations of Detective Sergeant Edmund Cryer.
Days of Horror
Days of Horror is an established YouTube channel dedicated to exploring the darker side of life through documentaries, mysteries, historical events, true crime, folklore, disasters, supernatural legends, and immersive horror storytelling.
New productions are released regularly, featuring original narration, atmospheric presentation, and deeply researched storytelling experiences.
The Edmund Cryer Files form part of the wider Days of Horror universe, expanding beyond traditional video storytelling into a living archive experience.
Our Vision
This project was created to blur the line between cinematic storytelling, fictional investigation, and immersive world-building.
Rather than simply watching a story unfold, visitors are encouraged to explore documents, evidence, journals, and hidden details scattered throughout the archives.
Every case file, sketch, letter, and recovered note forms part of a larger, evolving narrative.
Fictional Universe
The Edmund Cryer Files is entirely fictional and created for entertainment purposes. Any resemblance to real people, locations, or historical investigations is purely coincidental unless explicitly stated otherwise.
