Suspicious Death
The Black Horse Letter
A black-edged letter arrived the morning before a local man was found dead.
Edwin Marsh received a black-edged letter warning him not to walk home by the old canal path. He ignored it. That evening he was found unconscious beside the towpath and died before a doctor arrived. The letter disappeared from his house before police could examine it.
